We’re thrilled to share that after hearing your feedback, we’re excited to announce an upcoming Liesl + Co. Gelato Blouse + Dress sew-along set for mid-June. It’s been fantastic to see such enthusiasm from our community, and we can’t wait to have you all join us! Be sure to grab your pattern and fabric now so you’re all set to dive into the project in a couple of weeks.

**About the Pattern**
This relaxed and stylish peplum blouse paired with an A-line dress is designed with comfort and versatility in mind. Featuring a scooped neck and bust darts, the blouse, known as View A, comes with ruffled peplum and sleeves, along with a button-placket back detail. Meanwhile, the A-line dress, or View B, boasts short sleeves, double-welt angled front pockets, and a center-back seam. Whether you're making the blouse or the dress, there are endless possibilities to explore with this pattern, including detailed instructions for performing a full bust adjustment.
**Fabric Suggestions**
For this project, you can choose from a variety of light to medium-weight fabrics with good drape, such as quilting cotton, chambray, voile, lawn, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, linen, rayon, silk shantung or dupioni, wool suiting, and lightweight jacquard.
**Sew-Along Schedule**
The sew-along will officially start on June 12 with two days dedicated to introducing the pattern and offering valuable preparation tips. The actual sewing begins on June 17, and we’ll complete the entire garment within a week following this timeline:
- **June 17**: Focus on preparing the back placket (View A), assembling the back (View B), closing the darts, and sewing the double welt pockets (View B).
- **June 19**: Work on finishing the shoulders, neckline, and side seams.
- **June 21**: Add the ruffle (View A), attach the sleeves, and finalize the blouse/dress.
