Xu Yingxin: Yarn Exhibition to Effectively Connect Upstream and Downstream
Xu Yingxin, Executive Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Textile Industry Branch, stated that this year's China International Textiles & Yarn (Autumn & Winter) Exhibition continues to take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, alongside the China International Home Textiles and Accessories Fair and the China International Knitting Fair. This co-location is designed to strengthen collaboration between upstream and downstream industries, thereby amplifying the exhibition's overall impact and value.
The yarn exhibition has been strategically positioned to meet the evolving needs of both home textile and knitting companies. For home textile enterprises, nearly 100 yarn companies are now housed in Pavilion W4, which allows direct interaction between yarn suppliers and home textile manufacturers. This setup streamlines the supply chain and makes it easier for textile companies to source high-quality raw materials.
Similarly, the knitting industry benefits from the exhibition's location. The Autumn & Winter Yarn Exhibition is held in Pavilion W4, while the Knitting Fair takes place in Hall W5. This proximity fosters stronger connections between knitting companies and their raw material suppliers, enhancing efficiency and innovation across the supply chain.
This year’s event also marks a significant increase in participation, with 94 more exhibitors than last year. This growth reflects the rising importance of the exhibition within the industry and the confidence of companies in its ability to drive business opportunities. Additionally, the diversity of participating companies has expanded, with a broader range of products on display, including viscose filament yarns, functional fibers, colored spinning yarns, and core-spun yarns. These innovations cater to the growing demands of downstream textile industries, reinforcing the exhibition’s role as a key platform for industry development and collaboration.
