Both of these standards are proposed by the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and are under the jurisdiction of the Shanghai Textile Industry Technical Supervision Institute. Among them, the “Standard Test Method for Flame Retardance of Polyester Chips—Oxygen Index Method†was drafted by Shanghai Textile Industry Technical Supervision Institute. The main drafters were Lu Xiuqin and Zhou Yude. The drafting standard of "Polyester POY/FDY mixed fiber yarn differential shrinkage test method" was drafted by Xuzhou Silk Fiber Technology Co., Ltd., Tongkun Group Co., Ltd. and Donghua University. The main drafters of the standard were Sun Derong, Ye Jing, and Sun Yanlin. And Wang Xueli.
The standards of the Chemical Fiber Industry Association are fast and flexible, which is a useful supplement to the existing standard system, and focuses on the transformation and upgrading of the industry. The association standards mainly focus on the differentiated, functional products that have achieved mass production and high-tech fibers that realize industrial production, and focus on solving the problem of market chaos in the vacuum period of new product standards.
