In teaching, the primary purpose is to nurture talents and educate people first; then it is to improve professional skills. It is also worth noting that the textile major is an engineering discipline and schools need to actively provide students with opportunities for cognitive internship and hands-on practice. This also requires teachers with practical experience in the teaching staff to guide students in connecting the knowledge they have learned with practice. For example, as early as many years ago, some old scholars and old experts in the domestic textile industry made reference to the development route of foreign textile industry, and according to the current status of domestic textile education, they proposed to set up non-woven materials and engineering majors in domestic textile colleges. In 2005, Donghua University and Tianjin Polytechnic University set up this specialty as a pilot, and then promoted in the national textile academies. Talent cultivation requires a certain period. At present, the development of industrial textiles in China is precisely when professionals apply. The professional talents cultivated in the early stage just help the development of the industry.
