The dry-spray wet-spun carbon fiber raw yarn capacity is 5,000 tons, and the carbon fiber product quality has reached the national standard GQ45 level. After a series of process and equipment improvements, the performance and quality of SYT49 carbon fiber products have been greatly improved, and the mechanical properties have reached the level of imported T700S carbon fiber. The products have entered many domestic fields and achieved breakthroughs in the domestic carbon fiber industrialization application field.

July 2015

“The key technology and industrialization of high-strength and high-strength model dry-jet wet-spinning high-performance carbon fiber in the model” has passed the national technical achievement appraisal, and the technology has reached the domestic leading level and international advanced level.

The dry-jet wet spinning process is considered to be the mainstream process for carbon fiber production in the future, but it is also recognized as a difficult-to-break spinning technology in the carbon fiber industry. The breakthrough of this key technology makes the spinning speed can reach 400m/min or more, and the spinning speed is 5 times that of traditional wet spinning. At the same time, the dry pre-oxidation technology of dry-jet wet spinning raw silk is also developed, which effectively shortens the pre-oxidation. Time has greatly improved production efficiency.

The project has five key stages:

1) Develop a polymerization reactor with fine ingredients and continuous precision control of the thermal acceleration reaction temperature;

2) Research and make a dry-wet spinning multi-spinning dry-jet wet spinning spinning machine;

3) Research on the unitization technology of filtration, defoaming and stripping of high-viscosity and high-concentration stock solution, and corresponding high-efficiency equipment (both de-single, defoaming two-function twin-screw extruder, high-speed centrifugal detachment) The structure of the bubble machine);

4) Successfully developed a drafting device capable of obtaining high-temperature steam of high draft, high orientation low-filament strand;

5) The rapid pre-oxidation technology and the integrated design of high-efficiency carbonization line have been realized, the carbonization efficiency is greatly improved, and the carbonization cost is greatly reduced.

In this project, there is one person who cannot help but mention: Chen Huifang, a professor at the School of Materials, Donghua University. From the 1980s to the present, Donghua University's generation of material people around the country's urgent demand for high-performance fiber and composite materials , sea, land and air, comprehensive attack, continuous system research. Chen Huifang took the challenge of her own research team, and for decades, she enthusiastically invested in the independent research and development of high-performance carbon fiber.
