The Hangu Award China International Young Designer Fashion Competition is the highest level international competition for domestic fashion design. It has been successfully held for 24 sessions. First, the theme of the contest

Interpretation of the theme: "Leaving white" is one of the important expressions of traditional Chinese art. It is widely used in the fields of Chinese painting, ceramics, poetry and so on. The blank is to leave a corresponding blank in the work, so that the whole work picture and chapter method are more harmonious and beautiful, and intentionally leave a corresponding blank, leaving room for imagination. From an artistic point of view, the white space is the art of rendering the beautiful artistic concept with the "blank" as the carrier. From the application point of view, leaving more white refers to a simple, safe concept. The use of white space has been extended to more fields such as cultural works and dramas, and it is also a unique aesthetic symbol of Chinese traditional culture.

Second, the work requirements

Printing and dyeing technology is one of the commonly used expression techniques for the realization of fashion design works. With the reform and development of industrial technology, from China's traditional handicraft batik, tie-dye to today's digital printing technology to improve dyed, printing and dyeing technology has been constantly upgrading and innovation. The contest hopes that the contestants will introduce the printing and dyeing techniques or how to interpret your thoughts on “dyeing” into the fashion design concept and complete the series design.

A series of creative fashions that meet the theme of the competition (3 to 4 sets per series);

Third, the form of expression

1. Fashion design draft: fashion design renderings (27cmX40cm), style drawings, theme descriptions and fabric samples (5cm X 5cm);

Fourth, qualifications

Young fashion designers under the age of 35 (born after January 1, 1981), regardless of country or region.

V. Setting up awards

1 gold medal, reward 50,000 yuan and 1 round-trip ticket to China, collecting a week;

2 silver medals, rewarding 20,000 yuan and 1 round-trip ticket to China, collecting a week;

2 bronze medals, rewarding 15,000 yuan;

1 enterprise recognition award, 1 internet popularity award, and 5,000 yuan each;

A number of merit awards, rewarding 2,500 yuan

The above awards are all awarded certificates or trophies by the China Fashion Designers Association.

Finalists can join the “Han Hao Award” new designer salon, and the winners will be supported by the Hangu Group to hold a personal or joint fashion show during China International Fashion Week.

Sixth, the work evaluation

The judges are composed of famous scholars, designers, fashion critics and artists at home and abroad;

Design draft preliminary: The jury selects 25-30 sets of finalists based on the fashion design submitted by the contestants;

Finals and Awards: The finalists will enter the finals in Beijing to participate in the finals, and judge the winners based on the dynamic display and defense of the works.

Eight, entry instructions

1. Applicants must submit fashion design drafts for registration, and each series of works is limited to 1 person;

2. The design draft must be mailed to the organizing committee of the competition. The organizing committee shall prevail in the receipt of the physical manuscript of the work design.

3. The nationality, name, gender, age, contact address, telephone number and e-mail address should be indicated on the back of the design draft.

4. The design draft of the competition will not be returned. The deadline for submission is December 8, 2016 (subject to postmark).
