At a recent anti-counterfeiting and rights protection exhibition held here, anti-counterfeiting experts from the Hunan Business System introduced to consumers six ways to identify imported old clothes. First, check the clothing buttons, zipper: the old clothing after long-term wear and washing, the buttons, zippers mostly lose their luster or coating off. Second, check the clothing armpit, cuffs, neckline: the armpit of the old garment, cuffs, neckline fabric some polishing, and some fluff, most of the original loss of color, or obvious perspiration. Third, check the apparel trademark: the old apparel after long-term use, the trademark curly, slanting, yellow hair old, specifications, number ambiguous. Fourth, check the garment lock edge: old clothes after repeated washing, sutures tend to fall off, there is a lock line open line phenomenon. Fifth, view clothing production process: imports of old clothing and more for the middle and low goods, clothing and more only novel and chic style, sewing requirements are not fine, very difficult to see the appearance of clothing handmade traces. Sixth, check the whole garment color: imports of old clothing only seven or eight new, though the washing treatment, can still find difficult to eliminate traces of stains. Experts point out that the garments "foreign garbage" mostly from the foreign hospitals, junkyards collection of waste clothing, domestic lawless elements through the export channels of foreign rubbish obtained after a little processing, sell some sought after cheaper, advocating foreign brands consumers. These imported old clothes may carry as many as 20 kinds of bacteria, which can spread tuberculosis, typhoid fever, cholera and other diseases. General cleaning, ironing, and can not destroy the bacteria they carry.
