Industry sources said that the rise in raw material prices is undoubtedly the main factor driving silk prices. According to industry insiders' analysis, it is precisely because China’s labor costs and raw material prices have pushed up the price of real silk commodities. The unit price of silk apparel exports this year has increased by 173.90% year-on-year. The more the unit price increases year-on-year, the more the export declines.
